Datum: 08.07.2008 Over the last years category management has become an important issue for brands, shops and retail chains.
Both the fashion and retail industry are investing resources in category management. Continuously new methods and ways of working are developed, to create or improve the competitive advantage.
Recently SunIdee has started an extensive research project to investigate best practice principles and examples within these industries. Interviews with 20 relevant parties will result in an overview of the main similarities and differences. Subsequently the project will focus on the findings and how to learn from the other industry.
The project will be completed with a presentation of the results for all participating companies in September 2008.
